THEO Show 03/17
If you know us, you know that John is in a band. They're called THEO. No, not like Theo Huxtable....

Or Theo Roosevelt....

Their drummer Kevin just came up with it one day and it stuck. They used to be called The Addictions, but it turned out that some other band with a record deal already had that name.
ANYWAY, that's besides the point. THEO had a show on Saturday night at a bar named Martini's in Valparaiso. There were so many people there - it was packed! The bar was celebrating St. Patty's that evening, so there was green beer for all.
The guys played a great show - one of their best. Here's a few pics!

Get me some raw meat!
My first official blog post... hope it's not a snoozer.
I never thought I'd be an adult. But here I am - first you get engaged, get married, and the next thing you know, you're buying a grill on a Sunday afternoon with your husband. When did we become so domesticated? John and I bought a Weber Spirit grill. That's right! 36,000 BTUs of meat burning power! It's pretty nice, was easy to put together, and almost fits on our apartment's balcony! I kid, I kid. There's still plenty of room for a couple of chairs.

Now, all we need to do is learn how to grill. The only experience I have with cooking with a large open flame is around a campfire. And even then, there's always the unfortunate cheese-filled frank casualty. Any and all suggestions are welcome!
